In WoW, I'm raiding ICC, I now have 115 pets :P..

But in real life is what makes this the best.

I met the man of my dreams at work and we just fell in love! He proposed to me and now we're planning our wedding!

I log in of course in the middle of pirates cause thats where I logged out last night, and hmm they're hitting me, I can't hearth, fine I'll kill them stupid things won't drop what I want anyways.. right?

So, everyone knows Ory is the Queen of pet collecting. =D I was looking today and noticed, oh hey, I have 87 pets..

So, I am pretty sure there will be a 100 pet achievement for Cataclysm and I am so close.. so I am making a list of what I can get soon. So here goes:

Ok, I know I haven't blogged in forever! But for good reason.. kinda..

First of all, thank you so very very much for everyones sweet e-mails and comments about me loosing my job, I am sorry I panic'd everyone by not blogging... soo I have quiet a bit to catch up on.

First of all, Katrinia, my lock I was working on so hard, yeah.. she's basically awesome.. but, she is now my alt. *gasp* You say? No.. I didn't level the druid to 80 and make her my main. And no, I didn't level "another secret alt".

Well.. maybe a couple pics will help..

Everyone remembers Ory, my true love character. I have missed her since going to horde side, but had no intentions on playing her..

Yeah well.. now she's...

Yes yes, I gave in and moved Ory to hordeside. And she is now one of the 2 raiding Death Knights in Novo Ordum Mundi. (Unlike High Tech where there was like oh.. 15 of us lol) I am having so much fun playing her and raiding on her again. Her gear has gotten dramatic upgrades, and I switched from Unholy to Blood DPS. Seem's to be working fine for me :) OH! And I am doing something I said I would never do.. I am building a tank set! Srsly! Me! LOL!

Novo has been, will be, and is hands-down the best guild and change for me. I love my guildies and we are becoming family. I am the crazy, hyper, pet obsessed guildie that will jump at any oppurtunity to be a part of anything :)

I am updating links on the page soon so folks can check out the website (GO Look, Eddi is better at webdesigning than I am and it LOOKS SO AWESOME!)

Now, since I moved, I was using Ory's old bleh raiding UI. So, as everyone who reads YRL knows, I love my UI's to be custom and pretty. So, she has a new one!

So neat and clean, plus very effective! (And blue.. don't forget blue!)

So, Ory is back on her way to the top, (already is in my book!) and OH! She has 86 pets now... omgah! 86!!!!!!

When they make the achivement for 100 I am going to be SOOOOOOOO close! <3 <3 <3

Anyways, there will be more blogging, mainly on the weekends, but there will be more.

Kat got her mammoth thanks to a very persistant, loving and wonderful guild. I was pretty upset about a storm killing my internet connection and they drudged through disconnect after disconnect to help me get my shards.

Well, my lock, Katrinia is getting better and better.

I did something somewhat shocking the other day and transfered servers. No real warning to anyone, and I do feel bad about it, but I "felt" (past tense but I won't get into emotions it caused.. <3 Aeri.. :'( ) is was a good decision and slowly I see that for my raiding it was.

I had seen a recruitment ad on my favorite WoW_Ladies community and the guild seemed pretty awesome, so I talked to the guildmaster and officers and vent, they told me they liked me and would help me work on my gear, and the next morning I transfered.

So, Kat is now Naxx10 geared, pulling pretty decent dps, and is in a guild is is pushing major in Ulduar and they want me to be up there with them, so it's more heroics and Naxx for me. I even have a Maly run soon, (and we all know how much I hate that blue dragon.. but we'll see on this lock if it is different).

Hello all :) I think I am going to return to writing about my personal WoW experiences here on YRL:Ory&Lala (should have a name change but meh). YRL seems to be dead as the last post was done by me a few weeks back. (Sidenote: Guys feel free to blog, I promise its ok!!!)

Anyways, not much with me, same ol same ol... well not really actually!

Meet Katrinia, my brand new, Level **80** Lock!

That UI, is perfect for her, It took me a while to get it right lol.

So, she hits 80 and I instantly throw her into LFG for heroics and thus far on the dmg meters, she is doing awesome. Saving up my 25 Emblems of heroism for the offhand, and raising my Rep with the Kirin Tor for the dagger. =D

Anyways, things are awesome, I love being a caster, so much more different that Oryanna, who I don't really have any interest in anymore.

Anyways, yay for me! LOL Expect more updates :)

I believe this post doesn't fit on YRL's site. This is mainly an explainatory post as to how things are going for me lately because I know a few friends are kinda confused.

First all, I lost my job recently at the radio station, but don't fret, I am back at work at Hasting's and having fun again, as for the payrate and hours... we'll see.

There was a span of 2 weeks there that I was jobless and miserable. Wow-wise things were great, go a ton done, but in RL things were falling apart, and if things aren't good in RL, Wow-life is gonna suffer.

Well of course, in any normal social setting such as a big guild like Ory is in, drama happened, and normally I put a smile on my face, don't choose sides and I ride out the storm.. but this time.. I couldn't, and friendships were lost and sullied due to said drama. 2 of my very best friends in WoW now don't play much anymore, or at least don't speak to me, which leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

Which simply leads me to not want to play much.. don't get me wrong I have other friends, but loosing 3 people in a span of 2 months tends to hurt. (Seren, Shigan, and Aen, I miss and love ya'll so much)

So.. I started another toon, out of complete boredom with Bowflexa.. wait, not Bowflexa..... Thaylen, Aeri, and Hammerofgg.. hordeside.

Her name, Katrinia, my wonderful low level Warlock. She's currently level 33 and I am having so much fun starting over from scratch. No BoE gear, no RAF, just questing and learning as much as I can about the horde.

Don't get me wrong, Ory can still raid, she's still in High Tech and still gets invited to Ulduar, but with my new job and its hour, I cannot make the raids anymore, and besides.. I prefer the more social way to raid, HT joined another guild that just sucked all the fun out completely. It's either DPS races, jeering, insults, and people upset over raids in guildchat all the time. I have just had enough.

To my friends, I still love ya'll, and miss you, but I can't sully a game I love by stupid shit. People may think I am just hiding instead of handling things, but whatever, I pay my $15 a month, I can and will do as I see fit.

So for now, if you need me, feel free to visit me, DRAMA free on Blood Furnace, horde side.

First of all, I have playing around with an idea in my head, and I would like to see it through. I have been blogging on "You Receive Loot" for nearly a year now, and I have gotten quiet a few hits on my site, be it from guides, my friends reading, guildies checking up on me, or even the random people who come across my site. I love it, nothing makes me happier than to log into my e-mail and site tracker telling me I had 500+ hits in one day or someone asking me a topic to cover. Now I know I'm not the best at, say being a DK, but I get my job done. I also put my own personal sweetness and abilities into everything I do in WoW and Blogging. I also blog on a variety of topics, Pet collecting, guides, alts, etc, and I would like to see more!!!!

Oh, woops anyways, back on topic. What I am looking for is a Team Member, someone who is willing to blog occasionally about their class, be it a Hunter discussing shot rotations, a DK tank (*wink*) discussing DnD and threat, a Warlock talking about the new destro changes, or just about anything. I don't want someone to come on here and be all business, because "YRL" is not ALL business! I want the "OMGAH LOOKIT WHAT I GOT" posts, the rants, the screenshots, I want it all!!!

And yes, It doesn't matter if your horde or alliance! It would be great to have the horde side of things! (even a little "war" in posts!)

So.. I was running into Ashenvale last night with a good friend of mine ;), and came upon a questgiver.. Took the quest, ran to a Night Elf town..

And started killing them!

Part of me felt so dirty.. the rest was life, "phew, stupid Nelf witches, payback for running me back and forth all over this blasted land.."

Secret project going good, that was a little taste.. a tiny taste..

In other news.. well, lol there isn't any! Logged Ory for a few minutes yesterday everyone was doing dailies and randomness, logged back in later.. they were doing Ulduar.. srsly? *bang head on desk*

Oh well.. I still had a blast yesterday!

Today is Ory day, which means dailies, and hopefully a PUG of Naxx, as I am going to try my damndest to get better geared. Maybe the guild will want to go, we'll see.. *crosses fingers*

I noticed no one really missed me, as when I logged in there wasn't an outpouring of "OMG ORY WHERE HAZ U BEEN", meh oh well.. pity party :P

Hopefully I can get all the dailies I need done, get into a pug group and then go work on Secret Project. ;)

So, without Ulduar, I still need some Naxx upgrades, mainly Tier gear. Only problem is, the guild I am currently in, does not do guild run Naxx anymore.. I would go PUG, but my main concern is "IF" the guild decides to go, I'll be locked out.. and they are DKP.. which means even if I do go, I'm screwed on loot.. fantastic.. Someone shoot me.. either way, this is what I "wish" I could get..

~Valorous Scourgeborne Battleplate Drops from Archavon from VoA, I could very well PUG for this, at the offchance to loosing it.. gr

GTFO MY LOOT!!!!!!!!!!! g-d-i... fml....

To be honest the weekend started out crappy, but thanks to a very persistant sweet guy, it all turned out pretty awesome. Soo, incoming wall of screenies!

First off, Bowflexa strikes again helping me and making me smile, I was farming my Dark Whelpling and I just look over and notice another alliance farming, hover my mouse over and see the name, Bowflexa (with a symbol B).. I died laughing. Within minutes he got the Dark Whelp and passed it to me. Keep in mind, that whelp is usually 2k+ on the Auction house. <3 <3

Then he stayed up ALL night trying to farm the Emerald Whelping..

Either way, here is my new baby!!

Now, I did go back and try to get the Emerald Whelpling.. and I did.. O.o

Oh then I figured, what the hey, let me try for my Firefly.. mmhmm, got it too!

Ohh, and let's not forget about the mount in Kara dropping.. who got it? Mmhmm..

So yeah, awesome weekend, 3 pets, and a mount, NOT counting the turtle mount I got earlier in the week! :)

Hello, and thanks for coming so soon! Just some basic info about myself, I am a level 80 Draenei Death Knight, currently Blood/Diseaseless Spec.

I must admit when I woke up to load WoW and saw the Patch downloading, I felt chills. I am very accustomed to Naxxaramas 10 & 25 Man raids, and the prospect of a new area makes me a very happy raider! Now, compared to other Death Knights on my server, I can honestly call myself a capable raider. I provide survivability (Dodging colored circles, flames, etc), an eagerness to learn, and preparedness. I do come to raids supplied with, for myself, raid flasks, potions, bandages, buff food, for my fellow raiders, fish feasts, access of healing potions, and my own knowledge to keep myself alive.

I have kept up with theorycrafting on the Elitest Jerks forums, and I am fairy certain that I will have my duel spec set up tonight to the best of my abilities.

~Unholy 0/10/61 Tons of AoE Damage, Ghoul, Etc.. aka: Trash

~Blood 51/2/18 Blood Caked Blade, Worms, Hysteria, etc.. basically what I am running now

I have been watching the EJ forums and the Deathknight.info forums, and so far both are viable raiding specs.

So, Ulduar, I believe I am prepared for the raiding aspect of you. Now as for the fun items, Oryanna will be dusted off and returned to my main as I work on getting her the Argent Tournament Pets, the pretty girlie fishing pole, and work on various other reps.

Many changes coming up, so consider me somewhat prepared.

#1.. Blizz needs to hurry and get this patch going, I want my Armored Murky nao! #2, Calla hit 45 ;D, probably would have hit higher, but I helped Shigan and Aen's lowbies with SM (including escorting them from IF to SM *sigh*), and ran SSC, annnd sat outside Obsidian Sanctum in a buff party, putting out fish feasts and cheering for morale for the guys trying the Sarth+3 zerg. Fun fun :D they better appreciate me, fish feast, cheer, random moan.. mmhmm I do so much :P

Someone even offered to drop to bring me in, but my DPS was/is terribad compared to what they need for the Zerg. (BTW, zerg means to kill someone quick and hard, aka shit tons of DPS on one target while ignoring others lol)

Either way I do what I can for my friends, I wanted to see them get the achievement, even if I wasn't there to get it as well, but I'm not an achievement whore in the raid sense. I have made some friends too from running around in BC raids with Shigan and I have to say, some of the folks from High Tech are pretty awesome, but I don't see Ory leaving Impact anytime soon. Calla is still my main priority.

Now, I did respec Ory, Shigan was discussing a diseaseless spec for DKs, mainly a blood spec, and this boggled me, so as per his request, I looked it up, and am currently trying it out. 51/0/20 Pretty nice thus far, weird not hitting like 5 buttons in order and not watching the target disease ticks so I can keep dps-ing.

I wanted to try it out so I went to SSC with Shigan an a few others last night, but it didn't go so well, A) I had storms so my power kept blinking and B) there was a certain person with an Ego in the group and he was annoying the heck out of me in vent. So, I bowed out gracefully and went to bed.

Woke up this morning and logged onto Ory to check my mail and possibly do my Walrus ppl quests (need Pengu nao) and I noticed a LFM Heroic Arch going out over trade.. thought to myself "Hmmm, I could go and test out my dps with ppl I don't even know" so I joined up. Made it to the big ugly stone man and was obliterating, heartstriking, and deathcoiling him like crazy, until the enrage timer hit and I promptly was one-shotted...

I take a look at recount and nearly choke.. I was #1... 4,234 dps.. omgah..

Under me was a Paladin at 3.2 and under that no one got over 2.5.

I was very pleased.. so we grab some more dps (low members left after having the pali spam recount and QQ about noobs, thank goodness I respec'd) and we try it again. This time I am at 4.1k dps (we died again, the tanks weren't talking to each other and were taunting off each other and dying when he picked one up.. *sigh*)

So, we start again.. I am whacking away at BigUgly when all of a sudden.. instadeath.. why? My 11k threat pulled off the warrior tank.. srsly? I checked Omen, the tank barely had 10k threat. Locks were shattering, mages we're freezing themselves and dps went WAAAY down. Warrior was too busy talking in raid about if such and such dropped how he wanted priority on it because of course, he is "main tank" instead of watching his threat... w/e.. luckily the boss enrages and thanks to multitudes of lock dots, Arch goes down.. thank goodness.. Nothing good dropped, I don't really need anything from there anyways (minus a mount *giggle*) and I notice, oh wow, no master looter. Another DK clicks need and all, wins all and walks away why everyone is fighting over DPS and Heal counts.. w/e... I hearth back to Dalaran giggling.. idiots..

So.. basically I topped DPS until I died with a new spec, looks like its a keeper, now I need to eyeball my enchants and gems and make sure they are up to par, and then maybe, maybe someday I can be in a raiding guild and not be embarrassed about my DPS lol.

Calla is sooo close to 50, I am getting more and more excited about her. 58 will be outlands and 68 Northrend then onto 80! I seriously can't wait!

When duel specs come out, I am going to set Ory to Disease Unholy Spec, and current spec, and Calla will be main spec Resto and Enhance DPS if possible, but I mainly want to heal.

Oh and I want MY MURKY!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, one good thing about having a WoW blog, is I can insult and demean people as much as I want, and no one can do a thing about it.. So.. guess what, you post a topic in your "wanna-be guild forums" about how my friends and I did you wrong with a freakin' piece of loot (that you flat out lied claiming it was an upgrade..wtf/e)...

So, here goes ladies and gents, my troll post..

First of all, congrats on making a complete fool of yourself during Black Temple. I normally am pretty caring and mother-like to younger players and their mentality (or lack thereof in your case) but you pushed the limits.

See when I transfered to Kel'Thuzad and they were "discussing" you in vent during Seren's and my interview for the guild, when they said "Oh btw, Aveza is here Seren" and I heard him groan, I thought maybe they were being too harsh. See, I am a carebear, I accept everyone with open arms and I try to understand them.

They filled me in on the things you do to annoy people.
~Vegan.. ok, so you don't eat meat, surely that won't come into play during gameplay or guildchat.

Wtf.. it did, and you brought it up. Someone without even thinking would say BRB Food and you would ask them what they were eating, and by God if it involved meat you were all like "EWWW MURDERER, FREAK, NASTY, GROSS, STUPID.. etc" I saw that at least twice.

~Your 15.. ok, age doesn't matter as long as you act appropriately in guild chat..

Yeah, no, you whined, complained about certain topics because "you're too young", and acted like a "12" year old, if that..

K, so I could deal with that stuff, a simple /ignore Aveza came in handy a few times, hell I even had it macro'd for the longest so I could hit it once and then shift click it again to unignore one I saw guild chat had died down.

My issues.. personal issues..

I collect mini-pets.. I love them, I work hard for them so that weekend I got like 6 in a row, I was happy. And we hung out and talked about mini-pets for the longest and we were (*gagme*) friends.. but something in that brain of yours snapped (lack of protein from red meats IMO) and you started to make a big show about it.. and at the most random times.. raids.. general chat.. trade chat.. wtf? Why do ppl in trade chat need to know you have more pets than me?

Wait I know.. it's because your jealous.. before I came you "thought" in your mind you had the guys after you, running you through things for pets and mounts, then I came. Better, prettier, less whiney, and *gasp* they wanted to help me.. I didn't have to whine in guild chat for hours just to get a run through Mag T or ZA..

Sure you may have more pets than me, but you have no life. I do. I don't sit in WoW whining and farming non-stop. I do something called raiding, you know its where you kill big things and they drop shiny purple things.. oh wait, your still in blues, sorry you don't understand that concept eh?

I mean c'mon, take a look at that ZA, we had a total of 6 ppl there, 2 of them, were collecting Hex sticks.. for me.. yeah.. My boyfriend and Bowflexa, both who hate you very much btw..

Oh and lets not forget, who got to go on raids?

Wait, here's the kicker, WHO GOT THE SHOULDERS FROM BT?

Sure blame Claudia, she of course was the master looter, but try to use that juvenile brain of yours to wrap around this.. your level 80, my hunter is level 73.. who's gonna use em? Yeah that's right.. me... sucks for you though.

Ohh even funnier, when you had your brother vent bomb us while we were in Black Temple, omg that was a riot!! Didn't do a damn thing but get you banned.. who's laughing now?

Oh and when you attempted to Misdirect on Claudia while doing the council fight, AFTER you had left the raid group and sat there like a noob, yeah that was priceless, cept' no shock, you failed.. the doors closed before you could fire a shot.. *sigh*

So basically Aveza dear, I have come to this conclusion, no one likes you, and those that do, sadly don't know you that well. I tried being your "friend" but you ruined that with your obsessive "OMG LOOKIT ME I AM SO MUCH BETTER I HAZ MAOR PETZ!" or "OMG I SO DESERVE THOSE SHOULDERS BECAUSE THEY ARE AN UPGRADE FOR ME AND ORY SUXXORS"

So enjoy your days of World of Warcraft, your on ignore to me. But go ahead keep flaming away, you'll soon realize I don't give a damn.

Last night.. was a freakin blast! Granted it ended kinda bad with nerves fried and people sleepy (like myself) but before that it was great. Shigan (<3) asked me to log on Ory and do Naxx 10 with some ppl from High Tech, Ahysion, Dekadense, and a few other awesome ppl I know. It was great we were downing bosses and laughing over vent over the craziest things.

Well... I am known for crying when I got the "Betrayer of Humanity", but now I am known as the distracter.. lol.. We were playing around in vent about a week ago and the girls were fake moaning, well aperently mine.. erm.. effects ppl, so Shigan was raiding and spouts (in the middle of the run mind you) "Ory you should totally moan for us".. lol.. Now it's just for fun, and I try to make sure people don't take it the wrong way and consider me a sloot. So, I did.. lmao the men all take in a deep breath and we move on. I get a whisper to do it in the middle of a boss fight.. so I wait.. then I let out a small moan and keep dpsing. Vent goes silent.. It was great! LOL Poor guys...

Anyways, I was telling Shigan about how sexy my new UI is.. yatta yatta, so I am posting a new pic here for all to enjoy. It works soo awesome for me :)

The bar above the recount is my exp/rep bar, and I need to think of something to fit into the bar above my healing/decurse spells. The empty box beside recount will hold omen. I imagine when she hits 80, I'll have heal box/decursive up there in the middle, but only showing during raid time.

Anyways, there it is! UI of hawtness!

Most people who know me, know that I don't play WoW for loot, (although it is nice), I don't play for recognition, & I don't play to kill ppl in PvP. I play for my friends, and in doing that, I have become the "best friend", "little sister", "guild momma", "therapist", and any other name I have been referred to in WoW. And I do love taking care of my friends, heck I feel lonely when no one is online.

So anyways, things have happened, people who want to raid are moving to bigger raiding guilds, people are going where they have other friends, or people are staying where they are and just feeling left out. And I sit, here in the middle, with my friend venting and feeling generally miserable about themselves because they did something for themselves instead of sticking with friends. And I can understand that completely. But here's my two cents for my friends..

1) Who pays for your gametime? Your or your friends?
----A) You do.. which means you play the game how you want to play it, whether raiding, leveling, achievements, or pet/mount collecting. Sure, you can feel bad for not spending time with so and so, or even leaving a guild of friends to raid with a bigger guild, but if it makes you happy, then please do it. Trust me, your friends, at least your real friends, will want you to be happy.

2) "I would feel awkward talking to my friends unless we're doing stuff together"
----A) Why? Wouldn't your friends be happy for you? I've noticed when people leave on good terms from a guild of friends to join another guild, they suddenly become so distant that it's nearly painful to speak to them? Why is that? Mainly due to the basic mentality that "Oh I don't want to seem like I am bragging" or "I don't want them to know I am doing better now".. Right there, stop.. real easy solution.. ya ready?

Type this for me:

/w (Insert Friends name) Hey friend, I miss talking to you, how is (insert something here)

It works, trust me!

Just because your not in the same guild, doesn't mean that you cannot talk to each other. For instance, when I left Iudicium, I went with Shigan, Seren, Ell, and Ahysion, but, on a daily occasion, Dekadence & Hearthzone still talk to me. We're in different guilds, and heck we even left Iudicium on not so great terms, yet we're still talking. Why? Because I took the time after we left to say, "hey, I know we left, but I value our friendship, if you want to talk, feel free to whisper me at any time!". And they do. Really simple.

Now what happens when you do drift apart and are so cautious to talk to each other because your afraid you may strike a nerve?

You can expect to see:
~Loss in friendship, maybe not completely, but if you don't talk to someone for a very long time, they tend to (and not purposely) let you slip from their mind.
(Note: In rl this isn't much of an issue, but in WoW-world, it is different IMO)

~You begin to loose any chances of a friendship coming back after a while. Sure, you can hang back and not talk to them for a few days, and /w them to test the waters. But try to contact them soon. If not they may think you are avoiding them, thus causing for issues.

Now, what happens if you do /w and keep in touch.

~You keep your friendship! What's not wonderful about that?

~You can still run things with them, set up pugs, 2-man low level instances, help each other with quests, and talk non-stop if you want. Only difference is the < Insert Guild Name Here > tag over your head.

~ You will be able to keep an ear on the guild (not in a stealthy bad way), think about it this way. You move from Friend Guild A, to raiding guild B. Raiding guild B gets you in say, 1 raid, and they acted horrible to you. No loot, rude on vent, you notice its a ton of 12 year olds, and basically you do not fit it.. what can you do?
Well first, you /w your friend, and let them know, they'll /pat you and /comfort you, and then, I can nearly bet you they'll welcome you back into Friend Guild A with open arms.

Now if you weren't still friends, you would have to find another guild, and you can't guarantee you'll find one to take you. (Unless your heals or tank lol) You could /w your friends to see if they have a spot open, but since you haven't been talking to them, and have been pretty distant, they may be cold to you.

I realize this is a wall of text, but I have seen so many friendships in WoW fall apart because someone did something that they thought, and in actuality, is better for them and they either let a friendship go down the tubes, or they are too nervous to speak up.

DO NOT DO THIS!!

Simple, easy method to prevent this.

/w your friends daily.

Goals!

Yesterday was a good day. #1, I n52e Gamepad came in! It's so awesome! I set it up immediately and was running around on Calla using it in no time!

#2, Calla hit 40! Granted I feel like I cheated. I was feeling a lil discouraged because I had nothing but RED quests left in my questlog and when I tried to do them I would get mobbed and killed. Well, my sweet Seren offered to run me through Zul'Farrak. So, the last 4 1/2 bars I had left, went quick! She dinged 40 in the middle of the instance and by the time we were out, she had gained nearly 5 more bars of experience. So yay! Ty baby!

With 40 come Dual Weilding and the ability to wear Mail. Luckily with friends happily running me through things, I have acquired nearly a full set of mail items with the right stats STR and AGI. I also have a new Blue mace drop that works well for dmg alongside my BoA Mace which is more for spellpower.

Now, I have pretty much decided, as long as I enjoy healing on Calla, she is probably going to become my main. I know with Ulduar coming up I should be working on Oryanna, but sadly I'm not as happy with her as I used to be. Her DPS is not where I want it. It's good, don't get me wrong, but I was so used to doing DPS while standing back on my hunter, that sometimes my movement on Ory was slow and jerky instead of moving around smoothly.

With Calla, I can sit back and heal effectively, or later on switch to Elemental and DPS effectively. Either way, thus far she is a ton of fun to play. So, I have decided to make some goals for her.. as follows :D

~Reach Level 80 (duh)
~Get a decent Restorative Set, and a decent back up DPS set if needed.

Those are a given, here are my fun/random type goals.

~Earn Major reputations with her, Hodir/Kaluak/Etc.
~Also earn fun reputations, Sporeggar/Skettis/Aldor/Netherwing/Etc
~Collect pets.. going to be fun since Oryanna has 62/63 at the moment, farming again will take work.
~Get together fun groups and get lower level Shaman Tier peices. I am so jealous of people that have full or nearly full sets of lower Tier. AKA: Teir 5 & 6.

-Oh and work on her herb/alch LOL

Now, blogwise, I need to update. Make Calla a tab in my characters section, add a Shaman links section, and I make a wishlist type section.

I have lots of plans for this character and honestly, I can't wait til she hits 80, but that's 40 level away! 20 til Outlands lol.

The fight against the Canadian seal slaughter has gone digital!

That's right, gamers, get ready: This Saturday, World of Warcraft (WoW) players will have the opportunity to combat a team of four Horde seal killers. We need your help to stop them from bashing in the heads of any more seals!

Thrall refused to ban the slaughter of seals, despite multiple requests from the Alliance to do so, because Orgrimmar stands to make a large profit from the fur.

Activists from across the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor are banding together to put a stop to the atrocious seal slaughter. Anyone who slaughters baby seals for their fur must surely be in service to the evil Lich King.
World of Warcraft

Here's what you need to know in order to battle:

* You must be in the WhisperWind realm in order to fight. Visit WorldofWarcraft.com if you need information about how to switch into this realm.
* Once in the WhisperWind realm, go to Northrend, where you will find a zone called Howling Fjord, where the baby seals live on glaciers and boats float in the fjords. This will be the battleground to stop the slaughter. (Note: You must be at least a Level 70 player in order to enter Howling Fjord.)
* The battle will take place on Saturday, April 11, at 1 p.m. EST.

Make sure to check out videos about the upcoming battle here, and use our Facebook event to get all your friends to join you in the fight. Be sure to check back for the battle coordinates.

Think you can stop the seal killers?

I just.. can't wrap my mind around this?

K, so here are the obvious mistakes..

1) Whisperwind is a PvE server.. feel free to get on there PETA, have at it, and then sit there and WATCH Horde and Alliance players destroy those PIXEL seals, UNFLAGGED while you do nothing but emote to them. Nothing you can do about until they are flagged... genius..

2) Sure, go ahead, get all your members to get on there, HELL even let them transfer to Whisperwind server, that's $25 more dollars to Blizzard for each person.. mmhmm that'll teach em! Let's pay them more and they'll stop clubbin seals! OMGAH!!

3) Oh just a note: I just looked at the server list, Whisperwind is a FULL server, as in HIGH capacity.. according to their server forums, your going to enjoy watching the queue window on your screen while people are clubbin more seals! WOOT!

4) If you knew anything about WoW, you would know that it already has a D.H.E.T.A (Druids for the Ethical and Humane Treatment of Animals), srsly, we don't need anymore P.E.T.A...

5) And this is personal, why do I see Avesa from Kel'Thuzad leading something like this.. it's mind boggling the stupidity people will go through! IT'S A GAME! PIXELS! OMG....... People read your "fearless leader's" "Unique Will" she wants to be chopped up, COOKED ON A BBQ, skinned, and that's as far as I got without feeling sick. Yet, people in World of Warcraft are bad because they kill pixels? Wait wha?

All I can say, is maybe they all need to go to Scholizar Basin and play with the Softknuckle apes..

Another P.I.T.A "wonderful" moment... leave WoW alone srsly..

One year, wow...

So, if you haven't noticed, I have a tracker on my blog. Tells me who comes onto my site, when they came on, how long they stayed, and whether they came by a Direct Link (bookmark) or searched on google (and what they searched for). I mainly use it, to see how many people are looking for what subject such as, I see a lot of folks searching for DK Gems and Chants and finding their way here, and hopefully, my blog helps them! I've seen a lot of people come for the Northrend Hunter Rewards, as well as the various pets in the game. Weirdest one I have ever seen searched and directed to my page was "sexy Draenei how to play one".. well.. if I do say so myself, Ory & Calla are two very hawt Draenei! LMAO!

I've noticed a few lurkers on my blog, with locations I recognize, and it made me remember things I have gone through, so here is a wall-o-text post, about my life thus far in World of Warcraft!

*turns back WoW time clock*

Queue me being talked into buying World of Warcraft by my best guy friend (at the time Daniel, AKA Sereniara) by coming to my workplace, hanging out and telling me how great it was, almost every Friday. I loved seeing him, and I even went out of my way some Friday to look especially nice lol. So, he peaked my interest in the game, during the week on my lunch break, I would take the World of Warcraft Beasitary Book and Guide books and read them, over and over, until I got a fill for what the game was about. So, I decided to do it, downloaded the free trial, and created a warlock, because Seren was a lock, surely it was easy right? PFFT.. I died so many times.. of course I barely knew how to play. So, Seren logs on and I make a hunter, and name her Lalar, Seren helps me a little and I think she hit level 5 or so by the end of the night.

*giggle* I remember running to the Night Elf town Dolanaar and being absolutely freaked out by the Giant Walking Guard tree, I thought it was going to kill me. Seren must have been rolling in his chair laughing at poor little noob me.

Anyways, I basically got addicted in the first night and thought what the heck, I want to play. I bought the game, loaded it and went on. Seren and I hung out, but he was in a raiding guild and didn't have a whole lot of time. He was always in these fancy named places (I remember thinking Isle of Queldanas sounded so awesome) and finally learning how to Inspect him and being in complete AWE of his pretty PURPLE gear.

So, I learned to play the game on my own. Slowly of course. I knew nothing of talent points, I only learned the skill I "thought" I should know, and I was melee-ing as a hunter (rotfl). I was pretty bad, but somehow I made it to level 30. So, my faithful feline and I were running around Stormwind, (and let me tell you, getting to Stormwind back then was a bee-atch, no ship ftl...) And I saw this Night Elf Rogue name Msdrakkus. She was SOO pretty, and also dressed in Shiny purples! Oh and the had a cool thing over her head, it said < Guildfellas >. I was intrigued! Seren had one, but I never thought to ask, but this was truely cool to me. I asked her about it, and she invited me to join! I was excited! They all welcomed me, we chatted here and there, but a lot like Seren they were all doing their fancy level 70 stuff. (dailies, raiding, etc) So, I continued to level on my own. Around 35ish, I'm in Ashenvale, trying.. TRYING to finish a quest, but completely lost. I had no add-ons, Thottbot was how I was finding my way around but I still couldn't find this mob I needed! I was asking in guild chat when this Shaman named Myanis answered me and offered to help. So, he invites me to party and he helps me by running around killing the mobs I need. After that, he mentions that he has a warrior alt around my level and that if I wanted someone to level with, he would be more than glad to come along.

So, we struck up a friendship, Chuck (Thechuck/Myanis) and I. We leveled together exclusively, he helped me learn what talent points were, helped me explore Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms, taught me about professions, and we were inseparable through til 70. It was great. He was my hero, and still is.

Anyways.. Guildfella's begins to have drama, Chuck doesn't raid on his Shaman because he is helping me. Chuck is always with Lalar.. jealousy ensues.. Chuck leaves the guild.. I follow. Shortly after, we're invited to < Not The Face > and I fall in love. So many sweet wonderful, helpful people. A real family. We started going into Kara, doing raids and instances, Pvping in battlegrounds together. I learned SOO much from them.

At this point I also notice an influx of Horde players. I was getting ganked constantly. Seren's guild either moved off or fell apart and he joined me in Not The Face and we ran together more and more. More ganking, less fun, more drama. I was getting frustrated. Seren tells me its because its like 15 horde to 1 ally.. those numbers were disheartening..

So, he tells me about a friend of his who transferred to another server. How he still talks to her and tells him how great it is over there. So, we move to The Forgotten Coast. Decent Ally to horde ration, decent guild, and their raiding in more content. Coolness.. pfft..

I made good friends there don't get me wrong. But TFC, Seren and I both admit was not a good move. It was at first, until we met someone who ruined it for both of us. Someone who thought he was Gods gift to warcraft.. w/e..

*giggle* Funny how I was such a noob when I was there apparently and now, I am very well geared and loved, and actually told that I do a fantastic job.. How's 10man Naxx going for ya?

Anyways, I digress.. Lich King comes out, and omg, my computer can't handle it.. I was upset, so I stayed out of Northrend.. Lalar went on a shelf and I made Oryanna. Leveled her fast, and by the time I got my new RAM for my computer.. Oryanna was ready for Northrend. Lalar stayed on a shelf.

Oryanna raided hardcore (well if Naxx10 was hardcore lawl) and got pretty well geared for the level group she was in. Then of course, there came drama.. During this time, Seren's friend Zammis (from Blood Furnace, now Kel'Thuzad) was asking/begging him to consider transferring. With all the drama and bigotry going on on TFC, I began to see that moving would be ok. Granted I had and still have friends on TFC, but Zammis (now Shigan/myhero/bestguyfriendinwow/best raid leader EVA/and awesome music guy) was offering us a chance to get into 25 man content.. that.. blew.. my mind....

So.. we moved! (duh)

Oryanna gets geared very well, learns how to play for once, becomes a pretty decent guild member, and even gets a BEST IN SLOT WEAPON (eat that hater).. yeah ya'll read that post.. I cried.

So, of course, drama ensues again, (when does it not), and we are now in Impact, a small casual guild of friends, we raid old BC instances, and are awaiting Ulduar. In waiting, I decide to make me a new toon, so I make Zythi, a hunter. I begin to miss Lalar, so.. I fork out $25 and move her happy lil butt over to Kel'Thuzad. She is now Innaura. Decided I really wanted to heal, and made a Shaman, aka Calla.

Who is now.. level 39 ;)

I have had a long and not so long history in WoW, actually I started playing in April last year. So, wow, it's been a year I just realized. I started blogging shortly before Lalar hit 70, because I was frequently reading BRK blog and wanted to do something like that myself.

So wow, how fitting, one year played really and I post about history. I didn't plan this lol.

So, I officially have 4 awesome toons. Oryanna (main raider, lvl 80 Death knight), Innaura (alt, lvl 73 Hunter), Calla (main alt, lvl 39 Shaman) and Innaura (horde alt, lvl 48 Preist).

This was going to be a bashing blog, about my old guildmaster who is lurking on my blog being nosey, but I just realized with all this history, and how awesome WoW has been, and how many friends I have made regardless of his stupidity, that I don't even want to waste the energy typing. Not worth my time. He know he's bad and if not he'll know someday.

Well, here's to one year ya'll! Wish I could find out exactly what day I started then I would make a big post, but I think this works amirite?

And in traditional blog fashion, I want to thank EVERYONE who I have known and has helped me during this fun-filled year.

-First and foremost.. my love.. my baby.. my rock in RL & WoW. The man who got me addicted to this fantastic game, and has gotten me addicted to him. I love you baby and thank you.. (Sereniara, Valgarth, Moovinon, Salvantez, & Murphyslawl)

-John & Jen, ya'll took me into Guildfellas and made it a happy home for a long time, you taught me so much!

-Chuck.. wow what can I say, you are the reason I kept playing. Our friendship means more to me than you will ever know. <3 Lala (your little huntard 4 eva, wait, what Chuck? That's an elite? Oh crap I'm out of ammo, you keep him busy I'll brb!!! *runs)

-Anabelli, Paul, Reynissa, Chuckie, Anklebitter (forgot your main :( ) Scroffulas, and everyone else in Not The Face, you introduced me to raiding and showed me what a family guild can do. <3 Lala

-Distortion.. Deb, Roz, Rohall, Jutters, Riskk, Zopato, and the rest (MINUS 2 ppl) you welcomed me as Lalar, and accepted me as Oryanna, and helped me realize that I can do good DPS and that I can make myself a better player. <3 Lala & Ory (oh god, can't forget flowers.. rotfl)

-Rozalie, you and Deb in particular. You became like sisters to me in Distortion, it was us, and the men lol. We stuck together, had sexy time, talked about pets, kept the group together, and always had fun. I miss ya'll the most :( *hugs*

I still maybe new to Kel'Thuzad, but I do have a thank you list...

-Zammis/Shigan, well duh you tempted me to join, and of course, I dragged Seren along for the ride. You welcomed me, helped me learn a lot about the Death Knight class, and trusted in me enough to let me raid 25 man's with you. I know I was pretty failboat at first, but you were patient, thank goodness.

-Ellanoar and Ahysion- you two are the craziest and sluttiest ppl to hang with ;) But you two are quickly becoming my best friends and family :D

-Dekadance you are a doll <3 we need to keep doing MGT!

-Claudia, even though I have just met you, your are still one awesome wow chicka, you are truely the sweetest, funniest girl eva! <3's the Master Looter for T6 shoulders.

-Bowflexa, even though you can't play with me anymore :( your still a sweetheart (shh don't tell anyone) You lost Betrayer to me and still spent all night teaching me the ways of DK DPS and helping me get an awesome title. I miss you so much *hugs*

So yeah there's my long list of friend thus far, and I know I'll be adding more. =D

Since I created Lalar, last year (wow..) I have been following a blog that has given me so much knowledge into the Hunter class, and has allowed me to progress and level Lalar (now Innaura) into the decent hunter she is today. Hunter was my first class, be it, my first love. Sure I made Oryanna, but I still have a soft spot for my hunter and still continue to level her when I have time.

To be honest, I cried when I read it, not only for the fact that we will be loosing one of the best bloggers in this wowblogsphere, but for him. He realized just how much time is he was taking away from his family, and he is going to fix it. And that, is why I cried.. at a man who took his life into his hands and is turning it around. Call me a sap, but I would be damn proud of that. Sure I play a lot, but I make time for my kiddo, and when (?) my Seren comes around, there's no WoW involved. Sometimes you have to make limits, for life and for sanity. I do love WoW, it is a fantastic way to destress after work, and a great way to blow time and not be so sad when Landon is at his fathers house (I miss my baby boy then :( ). But we all have our limits.

BRK you are a hero alone for stepping back and taking care of your family.

But majorly, you are a hero for the wealth of knowledge you have instilled into me through your blog. Lalar was a lowly hunter, beating things up with her swords until I found out how to kite, learned how to stack stats, and learned what the best pets would be.

I eagerly watched your videos from PTR when you exposed the new pets that would be offered in Wrath of Lich King and I ran out the first day and tamed my "FlutterLala" for her epic dusting abilites!

There is a wonderful blog post in the official WoW forums, begging the Developers of Blizz to honor BRK, and I for one signed it! I encourage everyone else, Hunter or not to post in this epic thread. BRK should be remembered in the game!

LOL @ being popular and having people email me asking if everything is ok, because I haven't blogged lately. <3 My readers :D

And actually everything is just fine, just been busy leveling Calla, she is an awesome 33 at the moment, leveling solo in Desolace. My guild has been super awesome, running her through Scarlet Monastery over and over, giving me awesome tips, and helping with the toughy quests. I gotta say, Shamans are fun, really fun. Just dropping totems and shooting out lightning is enough to make me want to keep leveling her. She will be 80, soon.. srsly.. :D

I'm pushing for 40 midweek, and this weekend probably 45. I would aim for 50, but this is a big RL weekend, my best friend and almost sister Jamie is having her birthday and we are going out dancing and drinking. :D YAY HAPPY B-DAY SIS!!!! Annnd my Seren is coming to see me ;) <3 <3 <3 <3 So busy and fun weekend ahead!

Now cool stuff that happened, Oryanna got to see Hyjal, which was awesome! No loot, although if the sword would have dropped it would have been mine. <3 Master Looter (new friend sexy druid) and <3 Raidleader (Yeah Shigan dats you... ;) ) Then, of all awesomeness, we decided to do Sunwell, so I asked if Innaura could come along, and she did!!! 2 Sexy matching daggers, peice of the Gronstalkers set, AND shoulders! Again, being so in love with RL & Master looter, if the bow drops (when we go back) , *whispers* its mine :P maybe.. hopefully, *crosses fingers*...

Otherwise it's leveling Calla ftw :) I look to have her on up there soon, so she can start healing, maybe hitting some heroics and getting ready for Ulduar ;)

We'll see, might be asking to much, but I feel good about leveling her!

I did it! I finally made my Shaman.. I have been in love with that class and wanting to make one forever, just haven't gotten around to with Gearing Ory and raiding and trying to level Innaura (which I'm still doing). But with this "break" in raiding, I wanted to give it a shot. So, Callä was born last night. Sexy Draenei Shaman, got her to level 12 and had to log for the night, but I can't wait to log back on and keep working on her!

So.. slight drama, but thankfully my awesome RL/GL/Friend Shigan fixed it all and prevented too many headaches. I won't go into details, but I will say that Ory & Innaura and a few select other friends are no longer in Iudicium. We are now in "Impact" :D

Taking a break on raiding for now, and we're all going to build up the GB and improve our roster. Ulduar will be dropping soon and I am certain we'll be ready! Soo YAY Impact!

Also, since Shigan went from Inscription to Jewelcrafting, and actually ended up leaving all those glyphs in Iudicium's guild bank, I (Innaura) has re-professioned into Inscriptions! And it's actually a pretty cool profession. Plus the shoulder enchants I could have when I get it maxed, are awesome! I am making glyphs for guildies, I can make Darkmoon Faire Decks, Armor and Weapon Vellums, etc etc. It's nice to have a helpful profession. Plus Oryanna has been fishing up a storm! So now, I have Innaura (lvl 73 *yay*) Herb/Inscrpt and Oryanna Maxed JC/ Mining/Cooking & Fishing :D

I think this "drama" was well needed, we can sit back, build up, recruit and get ready for new content without having to break our necks over raids that we've mastered. I have very few gear upgrades I need, but I can pug if desperate but I doubt we will have to do that.

Seren's warrior Murphyslawl is leveling in Northrend now, I am soo excited about that! We'll have our lowbies to 80 in no time flat!

So, current project, Level Innaura and her Inscription.. Work on Oryanna's mining, annnnddd PVP!! ZOMG Everytime we have time to PVP, our partner is in Naxx lol! We are going to have to schedule time now!!!!!! ROOOZZZYYYYYYYYY tell me when! <3

Lol, anyways, more to come! (Shigan made the mistake of telling me to work on the new Impact website... oh yeah fun time!!!)

First of all, YAY me for being so wonderfully popular that people have to roll level 1 toons named "Oryannaisfat" and "Yeahsheis" to send me negative whispers. Normally, my carebear self would be like "omg someone hates me *cries*, but this time it's more like.. Wow.. lame..

Nice to see I am beginning to create a shield against stupidity. Deflecting the idiots makes me happy.

Anyways, so yesterday was also a good day, logged in and one of our 70 guildies was asking for a run of ZA, well of course I need Mojo, so I joined up and we all took off.

Here's a quick background: There's a girl in the guild that has more pets than me, and she frequently brags about it knowing that I'm waaaay behind her, no biggie, I don't let it bother me, I am glad she has more pets. I'll have mine soon. So, we're all in ZA, girl and I are needing on the Hex sticks, "mostly" everyone else is passing on them, knowing that we want Mojo. "Mostly" however, does not include Seren (ty baby) and Bowflexa (who was just being spiteful ;) ty hun). So, we ran through, killed killed and I started on my frogs. First 8 or so, became NPC's.. well boo.. So, we started clearing more trash. Boom 5 more hex sticks.. 5 more NPC's.. well damn I thought. Oh well, we'll come back. Last NPC I got, dropped a box and Seren opened it and looted a Hex Stick, then passed it to me. /target Wood Frog right click Hex Stick..

What is with this AWESOME amount of WoW Luck I have been having? That makes a total of 7-8 pets total in 2 weeks! 6 Major Armor Upgrades and 1 HUGELY MAJOR weapon upgrade. Just wow :D

Further awesomeness, our raidleader, Shigan logs on and on a whim says "Hey, let's do Black Temple".. being the fact that I have never seen BT all the way on Oryanna or Innaura (ie: Lala) I was up for it.

So, we got a group together and pushed through. It was actually fairly easy (wish I could have seen it when it was THE level instance *mumbles*) and I have to say, BT looks awesome!! The mechanics on some of the fights are so awesome! Especially the council fight, where you need to interrupt the healer constantly. (was my job and Bowflexa's rogue) The weirdest one, and I cannot remember the name to save my life, was the multi-headed creature, with 3 phases, mainly because how the Boss looked. Odd.. O.o

Anyways, we made it Illidan *squee for my first time to see him* and I grabbed some awesome screenies, so the rest of my post is going to be mainly screenshots of things that have recently happened.

Ya'll are so awesome to welcome my noob ass into such a well formed guild and helping me to help ya'll. It's been a blessing more than you could ever imagine. And to my baby.. you the best for suggesting this move, and it has been the best for both of us. I <3 you ;)

Betrayer of Humanity.. mine.. oh..mah..gee...

So, my last blog was written at 3 AM in the morning after a very exciting night, and now that I've slept, and logged on to make sure my sexy axe is still on my character, I can get into details.

First off, Naxx 25 man, was slow going, but we got through it. I won 2 major upgrades, my legs, Legplates of Double Strikes and my chestplate, Undiminished Battleplate. Both very nice upgrades for me. :D

Well we get into Saph, down.. KT, slow, but down.. I go grab my badge and hear on vent "OMG The Betrayer dropped!!!" I think oh nice, someone is getting lucky tonight. Never even once thought I would even get a shot at it. Considering it is best in slot until Uldaur, iLevel of 226, I figured a high DPS would get it. But, they asked for Main Spec "1's" in raid channel, I typed my "1" and added a "only in my dreams" and started checking out what gems I needed for my gear. Officers went to O-Chat to discuss it (Loot council on Best in Slot Items) and while I was looking around for the portal.........

"You Receive Loot:[Betrayer of Humanity]" ooorrr AKA:

Needless to say, I instantly started crying in vent.. wait not crying.. sobbing.

I hear "omg Ory it's ok!" & "Trina, are you crying?" as I continue to sob and thank everyone profusely.

Someone in guild typed "You have won guild first crying over loot." I laughed, through tears. :P

I just never thought "I" would see a best in slot item. Especially on Ory, who is doing terribad DPS. But, I tell you the second I got enchanted, gem'd and runed, I grabbed out TOP DPS Death Knight Bowflexa and asked for help. We spent nearly 2 hours, regemming, reglyphing, respecing, and relearning a rotation that is actually very very smooth compared to ones I have been using. (Thank you again Bowflexa, you are the best hun! *again because you really are for putting up with my noob ass ;)*)

Oh and as I said on the previous blog, we started talking about Reps and such and he started talking about the Bloodsail Admiral rep, sooo went went and got me that rep. Took a grand total of an hour. Literally... lol, 2 Death Knights running around Booty Bay, killing guards left and right. It was AWESOME!

So now, I am Bloodsail Admiral Oryanna, with my awesome and very helpful mentor, Bloodsail Admiral Bowflexa. (will add screenies later lol, I promise!)

erm, YARR?!?!

So.. now my new goals.. grind Hodir (*shudder*) rep.. for the shoulder enchants. Should be fun.. *sigh*

(And maybe sneak in some Dark Whelping farm time ;)) shhhhh

Whatta Weekend :D

First of all, yay for the massive amount of achievements I got this weekend. Tons of old content dungeons I have been dying to see and finally the Heroic Naxxaramas achivements. :D

The dungeons are mainly due to the sweetest guildies ever. Aenemos & Dekadence. Dekadence went through both Regular MGT (attunement to heroic) and then Heroic MGT, A) So I could see them, and B) for the phoenix hatchling pet. We're going to keep doing it when it resets so I can get that pet.

Now for Aenemos, he went above and beyond, not only AQ 20 completed, ZG, Molten Core, and part of Blackwing Lair. It was soo awesome!!! Molten Core is such a cool instance. :D (Will add screenies later, forgot to email to myself at work)

Now if only I could get some together for a Mojo run.. hmmmmmm :D

Also was a good weekend for my raiding confidence. My drops:

~Ruthlessness
~Bandit's Insignia

Since I got the Jawbone, I am leaving that crappy duel wield spec suggested by my old gm (like he knew what he was talking about anyways..) and returning back to the tried and true unholy one handed spec. I plan and seeing my dps back up to where it was. Granted I did do ok in Naxx, but being right above the tank doesn't make me happy. I want to be near the top, and I plan to be..

So, 4 Level 213 items in one night :D Hell yeah!!

Tonight is Obsidian Sanctum, 2 drakes. I can't wait for that achievement to blink on my screen!

PS: Magically, my computer performed ok during Naxx, I had one screen freeze during a trash pull. Odd..

Ohhh crap, I forgot.. this blog will remain the same name, but Lala is no more. I moved her to Kel'Thuzad with Ory, and apparently there is already a Lalar, so her name needed to be changed. So, she is know Innaura, with new face & new hair! A whole new person :D (She even tamed a gorilla *gasp*) Pics soon, because I love her new look! She leveled this weekend to 72, only 8 more levels to go!!!

Also ROZZYYY we ARE doing the Arena Tournament this week, I'll pop on probably tomorrow around 6ish central time with Seren and we can beat down some ppl for our Murloc!! yay!!

First of all, with all this frustration, I made a new character. (Big shock huh) Her name is Zythi, and she is currently a level 10 Hunter. I miss running around with Lala and Leolala, so I figured instead of spending the $ on moving Lala, I am just going to start fresh. I had fun, especially dinging ten and running to Ironforge to go outside and tame my black bear, Nyshi. It's nice to have a hunter again, I missed being proud of my pet for killing something, or holding aggro off of me so well. It may be a game, but you do develop a bond :D.

Now, as to why I am so loved.. as I blogged about last time, Ory was put on hold, I was scared and nervous. Well.. my smart boyfriend knows it's mainly my nerves mixed with the fact that my computer is giving me fits with 25 Mans. So, him and our rl, Zammy, have both been begging me, pleading even (last night's naxx run, poor Zam filled my whispers with begs) for me to raid, at least give it another try. So after some major talks with Seren.. I have made a decision..

I'm going to do Naxx this week..

Zam and Seren I can imagine will be cheering.. though I'm still scared..

I'm going to go home tonight and check all my settings so my lag issue can be lowered.. and prep for it..

So hopefully.. it will go well..

Sad Panda has returned

First off, Wowstead support folks are very helpful and very nice. They quickly had "my" banner removed from the Distortion site. It's not smart to ask someone to make your guild website look nice and then remove them from admin status. That's ok, enjoy your crap-tastic default banner. Thank you friendly Wowstead Admin who removed it.

Secondly, I have discovered that I am over my head. I have excelled in 10 Man content for months now, blew up the meters, and have been needed for dps many times. I have even been begged by two guilds to join them back on TFC.. which led me to get some confidence under me. I like being confident and feeling like I know what I'm doing. Who doesn't.

Well, now that I transferred to Kel'Thuzad with Seren, he's been flourishing while I have been fading. 1st 25 man Naxx, my Dps was terribad.. last nights attempts on 25 OS with 2 Drakes up.. I kept dieing, sadly by void zones.. again, last nights attempt on Maly, I couldn't even Death Grip a spark.. Zammis and Seren are both urging me continue but sadly I don't have the heart to. I guess I could be too hard on myself, but all I see are my mistakes.. and my dead body eating dirt while everyone else is flying by...

I think I am taking a break from raiding.. my confidence is shot and I can't continue to fail for the offchance that I will do good. Sure, practice makes perfect, but that only applies to someone who has the desire to keep going. I lost that desire last night..

Probably going to level a new toon, or work on Lalar, maybe melee just won't cut it for me anymore. I don't know. Starting fresh sounds ok... just breaks my heart that I've gotten this far to fail miserably..

Only good news I can say is that Ory now has 60 pets. I should be making a big woohoo post with pictures, but my heart isn't in it.

I had a stroke of luck, got my Sporegarr rep to exhaulted got the mini-sporebat. Went fishing, got Mr Pinchy, first wish got the pet, my egg hatched, I got the proto drake whelp I've been needing. On a whim I went and started to farm the oozlings, opened the first bag, there was the pet, went fishing, got my Sewer rat within an hour.. decided that since I had so much luck maybe I should go farm and whelp, and boom the Crimson Whelpling dropped.

So I got 6 pets, yay me.. srry for the non exciteness..

New Guild Iudicium, head is spinning

So with all that drama last week I'd like to give a happy post. Seren and I are no longer guildless. A friend of his that he ran with before I joined WoW has been begging him to come to Kel'Thuzad and run with his guild, and of course, he extended the invitation to me.

So, we bounced the idea around, weighed the options and decided it would be best for us. So we logged on, told Roz and Deb (I cried :( I am going to miss my best friends)) and paid the $25 dollars and was over on KT within 30 minutes. While talking to Seren's friend on vent for the interview process someone asked about the Scheduled 25 Man Naxx run and he informed us that he would like to get us in.

Srsly? O.o

So we zone into KT, in a very PACKED Ironforge.. and within minutes we are getting ready for a 25 Man Naxx... my mind was whirling..

Get in, get going, find out these guys mean business.. trash goes down fast.. bosses go down fast, loot goes out fast.. we're already working on the next trash after Anub'R while loot is still being distributed.

I got so many achievements that night.. crazy O.o

My dps was terribad, mainly due to lag and not being used to going so fast. But I'll get the hang of it I guess.. Seren wants me to quit worrying about it.. but he was pushing 3-4k dps... *sigh*

Anyways, it was awesome, finish clearing Sunday.

No loot.. but I passed on it, mainly I felt like I didn't deserve it being so low, but I was informed otherwise, so I will be seeing loot next time maybe.

I have goals this weekend.. since I am no longer in a guild that needs to work on heroics and random things, I will have a lot of time to work on my own things.
Like...

-I want to start working on Sporegar rep; looking for at least honored/revered
-Same with Skyguard rep; honored/revered
-Mining to 300 for outlands
-Continue doing my dailies because I need to up my gold holdings.

Pretty easy goals, we'll see how it works out.

Guildless...

And I'm not sure how to feel.. Part of me is like, oh yay, away from that drama! And another part of me is like, wow.. omg.. I can't raid until I find another guild, or omg, I just left a guild that helped me so much.. But, Roz, Seren and I are having fun!

We ran around on our new lowbies last night and got them to 10! We now have me, a night elf priestess named Innuara, Seren a human paladin named, Valgarth, and Roz made a Draenie Shaman, named Kallana or something along those lines lol.

We're having a blast busting through the quests and running around being silly. The game is fun again.

We decided not to move our mains into my alt/place holder guild, so if one of us gets an invite we can mention the other 2. I imagine it won't take much to find us a good guild, we're just not stressing over it. Sure, we want to raid, but we're not going to freak out about it. Eventually a guild will pop up ready for us :)

Anyways, things are good :)

So.. I am in fact, no longer Website Admin in the guild I'm in.. No response from GM, other than he "doesn't know".. w/e.. One of my best friends left yesterday, really shook Seren, Roz and I up, we logged off and went to PvP for a while, still not sure how things will turn out..

If it crumbles, we are staying together. Both Seren and I have a friend on KT who is begging us to come join him.. they have 25 man Naxx on farm, have downed every variety of Drakes up in OS, blew Maly away, and basically everything else in game.. Sad thing is, I've barely seen 25 Man Naxx... which is not my fault since I get threated with a gkick if I were to get saved.. *sigh*

Beginning to think I should leave with Deb.. the drama is so thick that I don't even want to log on.. World of Warcraft is supposed to be fun, not stressful... We're supposed to be running Ten Man Naxx tonight, we'll see how that goes..

Seren and I are going to make a Paladin/Preist Alliance combo.. get the badge gear since I have so many extra emblems and cover her in good gear.

AQ 20.. Ambassador, and weird things..

First of all, I got a new title, Ambassador Oryanna.. Seren, Roz and I worked all weekend with cloth turn ins and quests to get it done and boom, we all have the title.

We also did something kind of fun.

We went into AQ20.. well... 5 of us did.. Me, Seren, Roz, Deathknugget (Ryan), and Toxins, and we actually had a blast, granted we died a few times... but we need more ppl to make it work so we went on to ZG and roflstomped the place minus the last boss.

We're trying to get a good group run for Molten Core and AQ, so we can see the old content and have some fun.

I'm trying to put fun stuff together because it seems that there is nothing but drama in the guild, which is sad.. I noticed yesterday I am no longer an admin of the guild website that I have worked so hard on, so I am going to find out what's up with that..

Oh well, here's to hoping it clears up, if not, here's to hoping me and my friends can continue to play together. We all make a good team. (Deb, Zop, Roz, Seren, Ryan, and a few others)

Last post I said I was going to take on the Loremaster Achivement, and I have, and in a matter of a couple days, I am already reaping the rewards. Ory is now 161 quests into Kalimdor. That's with Teldrassil, Darnassis, Auberdine, and Ashenvale cleared. (To the best of my knowledge lol)

And of course when I hit exaulted with my Night Elf friends, I promptly ran to Darnassis and picked me up a Tiger of my very own!

YAY! First rewards from this long goal I have, and in my opinion I think I am doing fairly well, between raiding and dailies, I can usually give myself 3-4 hours on it daily. Of course Sunday I spent all day on it, but we had Malygos later, so I had to come back, and admittedly got caught up in the Lore that I was up til 3 am questing. *shy smile*

I kind of miss Lalar, she was a Night Elf of course, and on her Loremaster would probably be easy because she has done so much, but this is for Oryanna. My challenge. :)

Goals & omg I forgots!

#1 Seren pointed out, I forgot to write about Oryanna FULL-CLEARING NAXX!!!! Saph and KT downed :) They were both difficult fights, but after a bit we got the hang of it. So, the achievment for full clear, oh yeah.. Ory has it ;)

I also decided on a decent long term goal... I have already reached 55 pets, that was one goal, I have crossed my 2K dps goal and am actually a lot higher now, I finished my elder goal with ease.. now what?

#1) 75 pets... will be hard... but I want to try.. if I work at it, and farm every once in a while, then the little Fawn will be mine.

#2) Loremaster.. Seriously everyone laughs when someone attempts this, but I see more and more WoW_Ladies getting the achievement now, which leads me to believe that I really should. Plus getting loremaster would get me multiple achivements within,
Explorer, Seeker, Ambassidor, etc etc..

Considering Ory is a Death Knight, it may be a bit more difficult than those folks that have had characters since Pre-TLK, but I want to.. and now my mind is set.

I am going to start with Kalimdor and the Night Elf area because that's where Lala began, and I think its only fitting. I'll start keeping updates on my blog with the meter from the achivements tab to keep track and so everyone will see how I'm doing.

Since Oryanna raids only 2 nights a week, and I now have my fishing maxed, I have some spare time.

I can't wait :)

Had a fantastic Valentines Day! Seren is the most wonderful boyfriend hands down! Chocolates, a Giant White teddy bear, and my very own Pengu (a tiny stuffed penguin hehe)!

His birthday was this weekend also, (Happy Birthday baby!) and I threw him a sorta WoW party, grabbed a bunch of guildies and some cake and we all went to Elwynn Forest to duel without armor and be silly in general. Was a nice break :)

OHHH! Oryanna now has the Bombling Pet! I dropped mining for a bit and level engineering, worked for the schematic and when it hit my mailbox, I crafted it and switched back to mining. It's uber cute :)

I know, I know.. it's been a while.. but I promise I come bearing good news in this post. :)

First off, Ory is really really close to a full clear of ten man Naxx.. would have been already.. but I'm not getting into that....... Here's top hoping I see KT down someday.

Good news is I have gotten a pretty decent amount of gear. Last I blogged, I had gotten the 2nd Hatestrike for my Duel Wield Set.. well I have gotten more now :)

Sooo, ya'll remember Hatestrike right? I was pretty excited when it dropped from Patchwerk last week, well awesomeness has struck again! I am now Duel-Wiedling 2, TWO, Hatestrikes!!! Pure awesomeness!!!! Now instead of putting Runes on them, I am seriously considering putting regular enchants such as hit+crit on them :D

Ohh.. and number two *Squee* post.. I finally got my Kirin Tor familiar :D Took 3 days for that last book to spawn for me.

Then... I found a Azure Whelpling on the AH and Seren and Goolah helped me with a gold loan (I owe you both) and BOOM!, Oryanna got her 50 pets achievement!!!!!!!!

And boy is Stinker adorable! If you bring out a black cat, it chases it!!! Like Pepe La Pew hehe, too cute!

Naxx drops creepy loot!

Distortion decided to get in a quick Naxx run before the reset so we walked in and one shotted Patchwerk and died multiple times on the "Frogger" goo stream. (LOL Lag sucks trying to dodge insta-killing blobs of goo) Anyways lol, we got to Grobbulus and got him down to 13% and just couldn't keep going. So we called it.. but the good news is..

Hatestrike is MINE! Oryanna got it, luckily this Duel Wield spec is doing fantastic!

So I took Ory to WoW Model Viewer, so here she is duel welding and all..

I love that sword, it has a mouth on it that moves... very creepy lmao.

So.. first off, I wasn't even going to make a Death Knight, remember? And I did, and Oryanna is my main and I couldn't be happier.. And I always said I wouldn't duel wield... and now.. here I am.. duel wielding.. *sigh*

But good news it, Oryanna is pushing 2k DPS lmao!

2nd good news, I need one more book and I will have my Kirin Tor pet.

Oh and I was searching warcraftpets.com and discovered that Oryanna needs to go to Ferales and Terrokar forest for some pets.. *sigh* That will put me at 46 pets. With V-day coming up, hopefully I get Peddlefeet and that will make 47. 2 Pets from Childrens week, makes 49 lol. And theeeenn maybe I can talk my guild into ZA to help me get Mojo the frog, or I will be exalted with the Orables and start hatching eggs. (Or buying them from the AH) And then I will be at 50! And then HELLO Stinker!

LOOT & Lots of Screenies!

So Distortion ventured into the Plague Quarter of Naxxramas last night, and did awesome. We downed the first boss and moved on to the second, but unfortunately with the recent lag issue on The Forgotten Coast, we were unable to do the "dance" required for that boss. Basically this boss requires you to run around the room avoiding lava bursts in a series of stages. Which that part is easy, not so easy part is running with a high latency.. you see yourself with the group one second alive and next second your dead in a burst of lava.. we tried 5 times, but wiped each time, so we moved onto the Military Quarter and took down the boss that requires the tanks to take control of students, and downed him!

Ohhhh, yeah.. loot.. Oryanna got something ;)

Chestplate of the Risen Soldier *squee* Very nice :D

Deb our raid leader got a very nice robe for her mage, and Jutters our DPS God Hunter got a brand new bow. It was a fun run even with the wipe on the "dance" fight. Everyone worked as a team and it really turned out to be great for everyone.

We did try Utgarde Keep again for my shot at the pants...

Yeah..

No drop.. *sigh*

So let's start with when Oryanna was first born, here is Ory in the starting zone on her brand new mount!

This screenie is from a quest in Grizzly Hills, you go up a mountain to meditate and end up fighting the inner evil you. Kinda cool!

There's actually 2 quests where you fight either against yourself or like this one in Dragonblight, you fight alongside yourself.. (anyone confused yet? lmao)

I started off with the newly born Oryanna shortly after she was created, so it's only fair I show the DING picture! Oryanna hitting 80! :D

You have been rather cruel to this poor Draenei Death Knight, by not allowing the Staggering Legplates to drop from the Heroic Utgarde Keep for me.. yet you let it drop for a fellow Night Elf Death Knight. Am I not worthy? I promise to work on my jewelcrafting dailies to get the +16 Str & +27 Str gems recipes to gem it the best way for my class.

Tonight, Distortion is entering the Plague Quarter of Naxxramas, and I must beg and plead for you to take pity upon this poor Death Knight with level 78 Crafted Gear, for you to allow Chestplate of the Risen Soldier to drop from Noth the Plaguebringer, ~or~ Shoulderplates of Bloodshed from Heigan the Unclean, ~or~ Spaulders of the Lost Vanquisher ~or~ Loatheb's Shadow from Loatheb. (Or a couple of them, or heck, love me lots and drop them all and let me roll highest ;) )

I BEG of you, allow me my l33t loot to help myself and the guild that allows me along to progress.

PS: (If you want to drop some clothy stuff for Seren, that's cool too, but let's concentrate on the plate for now shall we ;) )

Naxx - 0 Distortion - 1

Yes, I know that is an image from Utgarde Keep... but I will get to that. First of all Congratulations to Distortion for walking into the Spider Wing of Naxx and one shotting it! (Practically) I was there and it was a freakin' BLAST! Really only issue we had was the last boss, but we talked it out, decided on a strategy and boom, that big ugly spider bitch went down! (Let's all ignore the fact that I had to turn my camera angle to the ground to keep from looking at her O.o, man she's huge.. and ugly.. bleh)

Awesome Tanks, Rohall/Stallout/Merc, Fantastic Heals Lehi/Elec(not in guild)/Rozalie*lick*/Zop, and last but not least the L33T DPS teams of myself (Oryanna)/Riskk/Jutters/Debella(Raid Leader FTW!)/Sereniara(yay baby)! Everyone did a fantastic job of looking up the boss fights, discussing strategies, offering tips, and overall doing what we/they do best, TAKING THOSE BOSSES DOWN!!

I have to say, that wing was fun. Bosses I won't say were simple, because they all have their abilities that are a pain, but I wasn't stressing. Which is actually odd for me, because most raids I tend to stress on my performance. I pulled around 1.5~1.7ish DPS (I can't compete with the Mage/Warlock AOEs lol) and I am proud of that, I do wish it was better, but I was rawking +Def gear (bad me.. I'm trying to replace!)

Speaking of replace... damn UT K.. still no drop of those damn Legplates.. I seriously hate that place.. but I am going to try to keep running it. Until then, I gotta give props to my sweetheart blacksmither, Vyruz, for hooking Oryanna up with THREE peices of decent gear to get me by. *hugs*

If you remember in my last post, I talked about how Distortion was going to hit up Obsidian Sanctum, and well, we did! And, boom, that Red Dragon went down hard! And... "I" got a new helm!!!!!

I am running some odd gems to get my +Str and I really just need the pure +str ones.

More goals, more work, but I feel accomplished when I get it done.

Rawr! Goals and Changes

So, I have been running Ory through many many heroics.. and have been doing awesome according to my guild. "Trina's your dps is so good" "Your doing fantastic" la la... I know and I hear them... but after a post in WoW_ladies today, I now have a new goal..

Is it possible? Heck yeah it is.. and I found out HOW!!

Oryanna is totally gem'd attack power, I mean literally ever peice of equipment with a socket is loaded with a attack power gem.. I am now switching to +str..

~+~ She has some random Plate with +def.. it needs to go bu-bye! Time to start farming Sons of Hodir Rep, they have some awesome shoulders - Spaulders of the Giant Lords needs revered.. I am currently friendly lol, long way to go :P
-My plate chest.. *sigh* Looks like I need to run Gun'drak for the Engraved Chestplate of Eck as much luck as I have been having with the Staggering Legplates dropping from Utgarde Keep... I dunno how well that will go, but I sure will give it a try.

Speaking of which, we ran Ut K last night... no pants... just Seren's ring... again..

Since Sons of Hodir has no tabard for me to champion heroic grind their rep with, I am going to need to do the dailies, yay.. lol but I need the gold. I am already exalted with Knights Of Ebon Blade, so I need to decide what tabard to wear now. I am thinking... probably Wyrmrest Accord for the awesome mount, PLUS, I am doing Orables rep (Oracles) for the pets & possible mount.

After that it will be Kirin Tor so I can get the awesome +19 spell power gem recipe for Seren and other spell casters in the guild.

Alllsssooo, the guild wants to me to start working on Lalar again. So I logged her today and set her in Northrend so when I get some time I can level her a bit. Now that I understand about hit rating and attack power I can start making her better. But I won't worry about that until she hits 80 which won't be anytime soon.

I did notice however that she did have 48 pets... 48..

2 away from 50.. which means she is VERY close to having Stinker and the 50 vanity pets achievement. I may make some gold and buy some off the AH for her just for that reason. And Oryanna I believe has 43 vanity pets, I want her to have the skunk first, but not I can do without more event pets or a massive amount of gold *sigh*.

Anyways, so my new goals..

~*Get home, replace Attack Power gems with +str gems..
~*Get to work on various reps. (SoH, Orables, Kirin Tor etc) (dailies = g)

So.. we have been running Heroic Utgarde Keep for oh, three days.. begging with the Loot Gods to drop Staggering Legplates and it has yet to drop. Although Seren got an awesome ring last night Annhylde's Ring :) (yay baby!!) Anyways, hoping to get another group together tonight and hopefully they'll drop. We've had the Epic Bow, Epic ring, and the Epic belt drop, so I imagine it's time for the pants to fall!!! *sigh*

In other news, Seren has been getting awesome drops from the tons of heroics we're doing and he is gearing up nicely :) It's so awesome to see him finally drop those lvl 70 epics. I've gotten some gear upgrades too, but nothing to write home about lol, but when I get those pants, I will be happy. :D

Ory has been doing a ton of heroics lately. Gotten a bunch of badges and new jewelcrafting recipes. But she has also been working on a silly achievement, which is frustrating me beyond belief.

"Higher Learning", where you gotta find and read all the books... *sigh* I have one and have been working on it for three days now :P

I'll get it! Kirin Tor pet you will BE MINE!!!!! (Ory has 43 pets.... 7 more til 50 and the SKUNK!!!! YAY)

45 and updates!

So, in one night, Moovinon and Innaura both hit 45... what's so big about that? 5 levels in one night!?! It was pure win, as Seren would say. We ran around Stranglethorn Vale questing and killing large mobs of well.. mobs.. until we hit 45 and decided it was time to go to bed. I am so excited!! Only downfall with RAF though, is we are blowing through levels so quickly and not killing near the mobs we would if it was regular, so we are having issues with gold. And of course we started on a new server, not one with our mains on them, so we can't send them gold that way.. *sigh* Oh well, we'll get there :)

In other news, I have updated the blog. I sadly took Teleri off, because I doubt I'll use her much except maybe later as a fun type thing, and I have added and moved Innaura up. She now has her very own tab! YAY! I plan on taking some screenies tonight instead of using a generic Blood Elf female with hearts icon. (Plus maybe get some of her and Moovinon cuddling *snicker*)

I also added some more awesome blogs to the links list! Priest and Warrior blogs alike! (Plus the loot lists!) I found an awesome blog for Priest and I have just been going nuts reading up on it, "Egotistical Priest". She has such an awesome writing skill and is knowledgeable in a field that I know nada about! I am so thankful for people like them who try to help with all their guides and info on the class.

So grats to my hordie Innaura and Seren's Moovinon, for making 40 yesterday. It's basically awesome! Sure we are leaving our Ally toons in the wings waiting, but it's not like our guild is doing anything.. or that server for that matter lol... but nonetheless YAY Hordies!

So, about the Lalar part, and this is actually kind of funny to me. I had noticed there was increased traffic from the guild "Force"'s website. Either they had linked to me or whatever. Well, no big deal maybe someone posted one of my guides and they were using it, GREAT, I am happy that I am helping folks. But.. no..

*crash of hopes like glass on the floor*

There's another Lalar in the WoWworld and they thought their guildmember was living a double life.. *sigh* Oh well..

Anyways... playing a Priest is so much fun! Seren and I were tearing up mobs in Stranglethorn Vale, he'd aggro 5-7 mobs and I would heal him through it, we had a blast. Yeah we picked the best combo to level with and Refer a Friend is being VERRY good to us.

For the Horde?!?

First of all, I had a fantastically productive holiday away from work.. Oryanna, well she sat in Dalaran mainly, did a few dailies ect. Distortion "attempted" to run Naxx 10-man... yeah wasn't happening.... Soo, Seren and I decided to do something drastic.. and by drastic I mean..

Yup we did it, we made Horde characters. I made a Blood Elf Priestess, and Seren made a Tauren Warrior. You can find us running helter skelter through Cromaggus Server. We are using our Refer a Friend account (poor druids left out) and we are both leveling fairly fast. Innaura is level 27 and Moovinon (yes, Mooo-ving on LOL) is 26 or 27. It is sooo much fun, and I feel bad for Oryanna not getting much play time, but until we start running guild heroics or something she is just sitting in Dalaran collecting dust. Don't worry I won't stop working on her :) I am just having fun with my priest.

Healing is so dramatically different than DPS, which I have always been, with Lalar is was ranged DPS, and with Oryanna it's melee DPS. With Innaura, the little damage I do is with smite, or mind flay/blast (w/e) but I mainly follow being my sweetie healing him while he tears up the mobs.

I healed through Wailing Caverns when she was around 19~20 and it was fun, challenging to me since I had to watch 4 other folks, not just Seren. I downloaded Healbot and it makes it to much easier and so much fun. So expect some random Priest info on here. Which reminds me I need to add her to my sidebar lol.

Anyways, that was what happened for the holidays. New Hordie :) Welcome Innaura to the "You Recieve Loot" family :)

First of all, I want to take the time to wish all my friends, family, and readers of "You Receive Loot", a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Blogging has become such joy for me and I see that people are searching for things and finding them here, and I am so glad to be able to provide that. I hope ya'll get everything you wish/dream for be it something in RL or that Shiney Spike Titansteel Helm you have been wanting since you saw that DK with it in Dalaran. Very very Merry Christmas everyone! :) <3 <3 /hug

Luckily, my computer is back up and running, will be back on WoW tonight, but since I am looking at 5 days off from work and I plan on becoming a hermit, (lol) and snuggling into some warm pjs with hot coco and cuddling with my Seren (<3) randomly in between WoW time hehe. Plus this will be my sons second Christmas, so we're planning fun for him!

So, no WoW this weekend.. :( My computer is out of commission until I can get it to a shop, get the money, and get it fixed. Apparently my power supply is messed up, so it's going to cost me around $62 to get it fixed. *crosses fingers* Doubt I'll find anyone that can before Christmas, but we'll see...

I belive this picture fits, A) with the season, and B) with the topic. I mentioned in my last post that I was going to go over Raid Consumables for the Death Knight class, so here it comes.

Note: Buying from the auction house is easymode, but you can always work on your cooking skill or befriend (or date) someone who is a cook. (Hehe <3 Seren) As I mentioned about tipping your jewelcrafter/leatherworker/enchanter, please try to provide the meat for cooking for your cook, it's always nice to do so, takes a lot to farm the meat plus they have to do dailies to get the spices they need to cook. (Tipping is fantastic too!)

DK Guide for Chants and Gems

AKA: Since I am far too lazy to dig around the interwebs all the time and the simple fact that my blog is my homepage on my home computer, this shall be my own guide for Chants and Gems.

Now first of all, all of these are up for questioning and other folks may have different opinions on these, but I have been (and am actually still) researching this.

Good thing for me, Oryanna is a jewelcrafter, so I have for my use the special trinkets that I can gem.. such as Emerald Boar and Twilight Serpent (ignore the spell power use feature, in it for hit rating).

Now for enchants, there may be more, this is just what I have found on Wowhead.com.

Now for the regular 2 hand wielding folks like Oryanna, +agi is better for our cloaks.
(For more info on Duel Wield specs, Don't look here lol, check out the Official WoW Forums or maybe Elitist Jerks, mainly because I know squat about it)

Now for gems, **NOTE** there are LOTS of gems that would work, so take a look weigh your options, I like to use Warcrafter.net and "gem" your equips and see what it does to your stats, if you like it, get it. But do your research!

100th Post & BT?

So according to Blogger, this will be "You Receive Loot"'s 100th post! Yay? I was home sick yesterday, so I got a lot done in WoW, actually, the past couple of days have been full of win for Oryanna.

First of all, lots of Heroics, with many many drops. Like:

~Chirin Shell Greathelm (From Azjol-Nerub Heroic)
~Sword Of Justice (From Heroic Halls of Stone)
~Echoing Stompers (from Heroic Utgard Pinnacle)

All in all, pretty good drops.

Ory is not hitting 1st or 2nd in DPS, which makes me happy.

Plus she is slowly inching her way up to 450 Jewelcrafting, I got 2 recipe drops in various heroics.

Annnnd... randomly last night, a good friend whispered me and asked if I wanted to do BT..

BT, I thought, surely he doesn't mean... Black.. Temple..

Yup he did, so I was added to group and after waiting for more members and flying to Shadowmoon Valley, Oryanna was in Black Temple... for the first time ever... ok, for MY first time ever O.o...

It was so awesome, I took screenies (at home of course) we got to Supremus and after wiping a few times, we left... boo... oh well :) I at least got to see some of it.

Just a random thing I noticed, didn't bring it up in raid chat, but it made me giggle... On the the Dragonmaw Fliers said..

"Permission to buzz the towers!"

LMAO, sooooo Top Gun reference and I caught it!

Anyways... tomorrow may be a special post, Seren is so close to 80 and is under strict rules not to DING until I get home from work so I can screenie it! So we'll see :)

Ho ho ho! Winter Veil! YAY!

So, I log into WoW this morning expecting to get some random dailies done, when I noticed Christmas trees had sprouted all over Dalaran. I looked at the WoW in-game calender and much to my surprise today was the start of the "Winter Veil" festival. Now, only playing WoW like since May, means I haven't got to experience this event, and by golly (Wow I said that lol) Oryanna is going to jump in head first! So, with the help of Wowhead.com and wowwiki.com, I have compiled the guide for myself and anyone else (Alliance side) for the Winter Veil festival.

Of course there is a cute title to receive when you finish the Merrymaker Achievement. The get this Achievement there are quiet a few quests you need to complete.

-- Making tanking still rely on cooldowns, but rely on them a little less.

-- Chill out some of the defensive capabilities all DKs have in PvP.
-- Avoid having to use Death and Decay as an out-of-combat runic power generator.
General

* All multi-rune abilities generate 15 runic power.
* New runeforge rune -- Rune of the Stoneskin Gargoyle (two-handed only) now grants 25 Defense and 2% Stamina.
* Many death knight glyphs have been changed. In many cases the negative consequences were removed.
* New death knight sigils are now available, primarily from vendors, including a tanking-oriented sigil.

Blood

* The healing of Blood Aura, Blood Presence and Death Pact has been doubled.
* Heart Strike – we overhauled this ability. It no longer has a haste debuff but will now be able to strike two targets like a cleave. It still hits for more than Blood Strike, but you can still use Blood Strike if e.g. you don’t want to break CC.
* Bloody Strikes – the bonus damage from Pestilence has been moved here to help Blood AE slightly.
* Pestilence -- no longer has a 10 sec cooldown.
* Vampiric Blood -- in addition to its current effects, also adds 20% health temporarily.
* Will of the Necropolis -- now reduces the damage of any attack that takes the DK below 35% health by 5 /10/15% instead of boosting armor when wounded
* Dancing Rune Weapon – cost reduced from 60 to 40 runic power.

Frost

* Rune Strike -- damage decreased from 200% to 150% but threat increased to 150% from 100%.
* Icebound Fortitude – now reduces damage by 20% instead of 50%. The amount of damage reduced increases with bonus Defense (to about 35% for 540 Defense, but it can go higher). The stun immunity is intended to be its primary role in PvP.
* Frost Presence -- bonus armor increased from 60 to 80% and magic damage reduction increased from 5 to 15%. We wanted to reduce the effectiveness of cooldowns but bring up base mitigation to reduce damage spikiness.
* Horn of Winter -- now has no cost and grants 10 runic power in addition to its stat buff, but has a 30 sec cooldown.
* Hungering Cold – cost reduced from 60 to 40 runic power.

Unholy

* Anti-Magic Shell -- cooldown lowered to 45 sec from 60 sec.
* Bone Shield -- mitigation reduced from 40% to 20%.
* Corpse Explosion -- damage increased substantially, added 5 sec cooldown, and changed cost to 40 runic power.
* Night of the Dead -- now grants 40/70% passive area spell avoidance to your pet in addition to its current effects.
* Outbreak – this talent no longer receive bonus damage from Pestilence. The bonus from Plague Strike and Blood Boil has been increased slightly.
* Raise Dead -- now split into two spells: Raise Dead now raises a ghoul or pet ghoul (if talented). Raise Ally now raises a fallen party member (at no reagent cost).
* Shadow of Death -- duration reduced from 45 seconds to 25 seconds.
* Unholy Blight – cost reduced from 60 to 40 runic power.

Sounds good to me, looks like the DK's have dodged the nerf bat yet again!!

Oryanna is now a Blood/Unholy Hybrid, doing pretty awesome on DPS, waiting to see how well she does in heroics. (been busy leveling skills)

Professions, Wintersgrasp and Randomness

*hums* It's beginning to look a lot like Christmasssss.....

Hehe sorry that icon is just too cute! Sorry I haven't blogged lately, I see I do have readers and that makes me so happy! Say hi to me when you stop in, on my lil chatbox, no having to sign up for anything, just pop in your name, blog (if you have one) and message and there ya are!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic holiday season! I sure am. This year will be my son's 2nd Christmas, and it has been fun. That's one of the many reasons I haven't blogged lately.

Another is that I am swamped at work usually. My blogging is normally while I am at work with some downtime so I can have my afternoons devoted to Landon and WoW. (and Seren ;) ) We've got a lot of Christmas events and remotes going on so we're staying pretty busy.

Now for WoW stuff, (this IS a WoW blog of course) Oryanna hit 450 in mining a few days back, now I can mine anything in the game lol. Pretty easy to do actually. After I hit 80, I started mining exclusively, while also working on my jewelcrafting, which is now 375. *squee* Gonna take a bit for 450 JC, but it's coming!

And some fun info, Wintersgrasp is actually fun! I heard you can mine titanium nodes from there, so I waited until after a battle when alliance had control of the fortress, ran into the portal and wandered around. Apperently some horde had the same idea, so I got to see how Oryanna did with PvP (pretty good til it was 3 on 1..) and I actually walked away with around 6-8 ores. Well, I was not paying attention to the timer on the top of the screen and after a rogue/mage combo killed me and I rezzed in the Alliance controlled fortress, a raid type warning flashed on my screen, "The battle for Wintersgrasp will start soon" I thought, hmm hadn't tried it yet, maybe I'll stick around. So I did, I hopped up onto a harpoon type gun, and defended the East Side of the fortress which luckily for me, is where the horde tried to take over. I got 50 horde kills and a massive amount of honor. We did loose the fortress however but there was no real raid group going in. Next time I am going to set up a raid group and we're gonna win! I am addicted it was so much fun, first gunning at the horde by sitting in a harpoon shooter and smashing them, then when they got smart and destroyed my harpoon gun, I got into one of the rolling seige weapons and plowed horde around like lil bugs! Was soooooooooooooooooo fun! Can't wait to go again!

Anyways, working on Dailies too for some gold, Lala is close to 50 pets, but Oryanna is far away, yet I want her to have the skunk.. since she is my main now. So crazy lol...

Imajika is a BRAND new guild, just starting out in Lich King. We're looking for fun people who are questing to level and just want to be involved in raiding as the skill increases.

We are leveling at the moment. With the expansion still new we are trying to level, but I do plan on raiding as soon as we get enough members to do so.

So, last post Oryanna was 72, with Seren ahead by one level. Well, thanks to the holidays....

ORYANNA IS LEVEL 80!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so happy! Did a lot of quest grinding, ran through Zul'Drak, Scholizar Basin, Snow Peaks, and Icecrown as fast as I could. I actually ran out a few times and had to go back to lower level quests and grinding mobs, but luckily I made it. Actually at 79, I didn't have any high level quests that didn't involve an Instance, so I went back to Zul'drak to finish off a random quest and that's where it happened!

So YAY! All that work, quests, grinding.. pays off!

Seren, is still 75, but he was with family and friends through his holidays and wasn't on like I was. He'll be 80 soon, I know it ;)

I'm so crazy, after all the ding screenshots, I hearthed to Dalaran and ran to my absolute favorite place in the city and set off the fireworks I got in a "Congratulations on 80" package from Blizzard.

That is my favorite screenie yet lol.

I spent the rest of the night working on my mining, it's to 175 at the moment and I will be trekking around Sithilus tonight farming Mythril.

Imajika's guild bank is full of ore/bars/gems lol, trying to decide if I want to sell it on the AH, and make some gold for my epic flying mount or see if another friend may need it. I am kinda close to my Epic flying mount for Oryanna, I have around 2,500g, and the training is 5,000g. Hopefully with dailies and things, I be able to get it soon.

I also plan and visiting Wintersgrasp, the new Northrend PvP area. In my mind I see Oryanna doing ok, but that could change lol. For now, I want to work on my mining. Then my jewelcrafting because I got 3 nice zone jewelcrafting drops while I was leveling.

Anyways, yay me, for hitting 80 lol.

Ding & Racing to 80..

If only I could play WoW at work, then I could catch up to Seren who is now 73... (grtz baby *mumbles*) So... I have decided, I am going to drug him when he comes to see me and make sure he sleeps and level all night to beat him... (LOL) OK.. not that drastic, but dangit, I'm going to try to catch him... I guess we are in an unofficial race to 80, which will be fun.. I doubt I'll win, he's got an extra holiday day off so he'll be leveling then. (CHEATER!) Kidding...

But, it other news, Oryanna did hit 72 last night in Borean Tundra, (only 15 minutes later Seren hit 73).. We did the Last Rites quest last night, I got the super sexy Axe of Frozen Death. It's an awesome quest reward and should last me a few levels.

Oh, Distortion got their first 80 guildies yesterday, Metalhownd! It was pretty awesome to see that acheivement pop up in guildchat. Can't wait til Ory gets there.

Anyways, lovely Tuesday morning maintenence today, so no morning WoW. But thats ok, I'll try to catch Seren tonight and through the Thanksgiving holidays. (4 days off ftw!)

Almost 72.. and ZzzzZzzzz

Most of the guys in Distortion are pushing 76-78ish in levels, while poor Oryanna is just now about to reach 72. I try not to feel bad, mainly because I wasn't leveling her from 70 up, like I would have with Lala, but I am trying to get up there. There is another Death Knight in the guild Vyruz, he's a sweetie, we're leveling together sometimes but at the moment he is ahead of me. Hopefully I will catch up over the holidays, 4 day weekend coming up!

Anyways, Oryanna will hit 72 tonight and then it's on to 73. Questing is fun and actually pretty easy. I can't imagine how it would be with Lala, I had hell getting her to 70, and Oryanna was easy from 55-70. I think it took her around 5 days. Oh well, *crosses fingers* maybe with the 4 day weekend I have coming up I can bust through some levels. Coffee ftw!

Oh and in other news Blizzard gave Lala her 46th pet this weekend. Apparently this weekend was the 4th Year Anniversary of WoW, so everyone who logged on, got cute lil Polar Bear pets, so I logged Lala and got hers. She is so close to having 50 pets and the cute little skunk. Now my problem is, I want Oryanna to have it LMAO.. but I think I will wait til level 80 to get that acheivement. Seems it will be easier for her to get 50 pets then. Just need to log Lala during the holidays and she'll be set for her 50th pet soon.

Also! Welcome Kurista, my friend Megan from New York has decided to get sucked into WoW and has made a Draenie hunter :) I can't wait to see how far she goes!

Anyways, here's to hitting 72 tonight, and 75+ during the holidays :)

Ok, so today is a day of blogging goodness! First off, WOW lookit my gorgeous new banner!! Many many many thanks to jadeleopard, who "threw" it together. (Check out her livejournal page, credits at the bottom of my blog) It looks fabulous! And after some slight issues with the coding of my blog, I finally have it looking the way I want it! YAY!

Nowwww... the Ding part.. I said it was going to happen, AND IT DID! Oryanna dinged 68 last night in Area 52 and made her way to Northrend, where she got some awesome gear AND dinged 69! I'm seeing 70 tonight! *crosses fingers*

Started her out at Borean Tundra with Seren, since he hadn't quested there yet. And I fully intend on running her to Howling Fjord while Seren is off having guy time, so Oryanna can catch up to her aggro stealing clothy. I love him.. but that lock is good at taking my aggro.. considering I WEAR PLATE!! (We have fun arguments in voice chat lol) Maybe it's because his DPS is better than mine.. oh and the fact that he is now 4 levels over me... *scratches head* hmmmmmm

Anyways, poor Lalar, still sitting in Dalaran.. Oryanna is def. pass her level this weekend.. kind of sad actually, but I will level Lala once I get Ory to 80 and get her geared. Distortion has 4 hunters, I'm sure they don't need lil Lala running around lol. Besides Oryanna is gonna kick some major tush.

Sooo yeah.. goal for tonight is 70! And then on from there!

67... getting SOOO close! Oh and HAI!

First of all, HAI (/wave) everyone that is popping onto my lil blog. I have noticed an increase in traffic and it's so awesome :) So come on in rest a spell and enjoy my trials and tales of WoW-ing. :)

Second.. and this picture, FITS! (thanks to Wow_Lady meirin, for sharing this picture on WoW_ladies a blog I follow daily)

I am 3/4 to 68, as of last night. Oryanna dinged 67 in Shadowmoon Valley, but I got distracted and mindlessly wondered over to Northrend.. really mindlessly... *nods*

Ended up exploring and killing random things pushing Oryanna to about halfway through 67. I went to bed shortly afterwards and then my sweet baby boy woke me up early so with him curled up in my lap, Oryanna pushed through some quests in Area 52/Stormspire and now she is 3/4 of the way to 68..

Seren got his DK to 60 last night, grtz baby on that! He's slowly working his Warlock to 72, which is awesome! Hopefully Oryanna can catch up!

My goal for tonight is 68, and I should hit it pretty quickly. Not sure how quickly it will be from 68-69, but I am going to try for it. Now 70.. will come this weekend.. no doubt :)

Getting closer, 66 and counting..

So last night, (rather this morning, 2AM hehe) Oryanna dinged 66 in Blades Edge Mountains. Annd then.. for some strange reason I woke up at 7AM this morning instead of 8, and thought, meh, more morning WoW time. So I grabbed a shower and hopped onto WoW, and pushed a few more quest, getting Oryanna to a little over half way to 67. I imagine a few more quests in Blades Edge and she will be set at 67.

Now the question is.. for 67-68.. should I go to Netherstorm? Or should I go to Shadowmoon Valley? Only one level to work on, and I plan on hitting 68 by tonight.. I'm currently researching Wowhead.com to see which area starter quests are maybe easier or faster.

It's crazy how fast Oryanna is leveling. I am sooo ready to hit Northrend with her :)

*SQUEE* Oryanna in Northrend, I can't wait.. I have no idea what starter area either. Lalar started at Howling Fjord before my computer starting giving me fits, so I may start at Borean Tundra so I can see it :)

This weekend Ory will be at Northrend, no doubt, if not tonight ;) I will cut my video settings down to nothing to keep her leveling!

So YAY!!!

The Unholy Talent Suggestion

8.3. Unholy

Unholy is the most magic-damage heavy of all the specs. As such, it is particularly adept at killing targets with high armor and mitigation. In addition, it offers the most powerful area of effect damage of any of the specs.

8.3.1. Benefits brought by an Unholy spec

Unholy’s raid buff comes in the form of Ebon Plague. With the effects of Crypt Fever built-in, it not only provides all other Death Knights with 30% more disease damage, but also provides 13% more magic damage done to all targets diseased by you. While Warlocks and Moonkin can also provide this buff, it is most easily applied (especially to multiple targets) by a Death Knight. This spec is also capable of temporarily resurrecting raid members as ghouls, providing extra damage when no battle res is available.
Unholy's token aura is Unholy Aura, which will make the run speed portion of Unholy Presence a raidwide aura (do note this is NOT linked to whether or not the Death Knight is in Unholy Presence). Some argue that it's not worth picking up, more on that below in the Talent Choices section.

Please note that you should only have one Unholy DK in the raid at a given time. Ebon Plague does not stack, and will only count as a third disease for strike damage to the DK that applied it.

8.3.2. Talent Choices

17/0/54: You may see points in this tree distributed differently, but this is my personal preference. Note that the talents you are likely to see varying amounts of points are Necrosis, Impurity, and Unholy Aura. There are a lot of misconceptions floating around about these talents, but thankfully the DPS breakdown below helped clear up many of them. Many people also argue that Unholy Aura does not directly contribute to DPS, and hence is not worthwhile. However, here is a fairly convincing post that illustrates otherwise:

Also, you will most likely be near to the tanks at all times, and allowing the tanks to grab targets more easily is extremely helpful.
8.3.3. Rotation

PS = Plague Strike
IT = Icy Touch
BS = Blood Strike
SS = Scourge Strike
DC = Death Coil
UB = Unholy Blight

Note that in the “DC” section, you should continue to cast DC until you no longer can. Rotations are shown over two cool-downs per rune, with full rotations lasting approximately 20 seconds.

8.3.4. Glyphs

8.3.4.1. Major Glyphs:

* Glyph of Plague Strike: This is actually quite good for unholy if you make sure your rotation is tight enough that the target always has one disease on them.
* Glyph of Bone Shield: Since bone shield offers a 2% increase to damage, this glyph ensures it stays up longer, hence increasing your damage. Also great on fights with lots of AoE damage.
* Glyph of Scourge Strike: This glyph isn't necessarily bad, but most DKs from beta strongly caution the use. In a typical 4x SS rotation, diseases should ALWAYS be up, and this glyph brings absolutely nothing in terms of benefit in a raiding situation unless it's a boss fight with a lot of target switching or moving and it just happens to proc before you start running. Keep in mind that even with a 25% proc rate, there is a 32% chance in any given 4x SS rotation that you will get ZERO procs. Due to how unreliable and situational this glyph is, most Unholy DKs advise against its use in a raiding situation.
* Glyph of Blood Strike: I put this glyph here because there is a common misconception about how it functions. Many assume that bosses hit with desecration will take more damage with this glyph. THIS IS WRONG. It is nothing like the warrior daze mechanic in raids, and is strictly a PVP glyph. Do not use.
* For your last major Glyph slot, there are a few choices. There is nothing simply amazing, but a few that you can chose from that provide some benefit. If you are dead-set on maximizing your DPS, then Glyph of the Ghoul is your best bet. If you want to throw in some surviveability or PVP focus since you wont get too much out of the previous glyph, Glyph of Icebound Fortitude and Glyph of Strangulate provide some nice utility.

8.3.4.2 Minor Glyphs:

* Glyph of Pestilence: An invaluable minor glyph for all PVE DKs. This allows you to more easily AoE and spread diseases with pestilence, saving you from having to re-apply diseases where you might have previously had to. This, in turn, allows you to get more powerful strikes in the during the short lifespan of trash mobs and multi-mob boss encounters. IMO, absolutely required for every raiding DK.
* Glyph of Horn of Winter: Not an amazing glyph in all raiding situations, but it has its place in 5 mans and certain raiding encounters. If you aren't able to be near an enhancement shaman, this makes the fairly steep cost of HoW cheaper, and more bearable in a raiding situation.
* As for remaining minor glyph slots, you can chose whatever you find most helpful. At the moment, the only remotely helpful minor glyphs for unholy that haven't been mentioned are Glyph of Blood Tap and Glyph of Raise Dead.

So, Oryanna hit 64 last night. Not a big feat mind you, so many quests I can do. I actually finished up most of Zangermarsh so I moved onto Terrokar Forest. A few quests into that zone and DING! Now I am a little under 1/2 way to 65, so I am setting a goal of 66 tonight. Should be able to hit Nagrand tonight actually.

After 66, only 2 more levels until Northrend.. and hopefully my RAM will be in so I can install and get there right away.

It's so awesome playing a Death Knight, Oryanna can take on mobs 2-3 levels higher than her and solo the group quests. Last night she took on the Elite Bird in Terrokar and killed him with a little under half health points. So yeah, the evil Oryanna is a very powerful Ory. hehe

Well, we've just about picked a name for the blog, (we being myself and Seren even though he won't pick anything at all) "Musings of a WoW Woman" because it will be basic.. covering all aspects not just one character.

I am so ready to hit 68 on Ory.. I will be so glad to finally quest in Northrend, and sadly I see her passing Lala quickly. But that's ok..

After Ory hits 80 or when I get a little weary of leveling, I am going to work on her mining and jewelcrafting, so she can start getting her professions done. Being able to make Gems for myself will be a great thing :) And I can make some decent coin too!

Might need to change the name of my blog.. Call me Ory...

Since my computer is having a hard time with Northrend (my memory is a bit low) I am working on my smexie Death Knight, Oryanna.

I am getting a RAM upgrade this week (my moms early birthday gift to me) but I am having so much fun with Oryanna...

I mean seriously, Lalar was fun to learn WoW with.. attacks mobs safely behind my pet going slowly through each level, learning the lore...

But Oryanna.. I am face to face with the mobs.. speeding through quests and zones. Heck I was just 58 Friday and now I am 62.. thats 4 levels in 2 days. Woah....

I don't care if they say DK's are overpowered... I am having fun!

So, Lalar is on the back burner.. because well.. oh well lmao. I have paid my dues with her.

My RAM upgrades should be in by Friday.. which means.. I have 5 days to get Ory to level 68, which will give her the level requirements to go to Northrend. And then it's lvl 80 here I come...

I think after I level Ory, Lalar will come after just so I have 2 80's and you never know when someone may need a hunter. (ok n/m that.. no one needs Lalar anymore)

So my goals.. get Ory to level 64 tonight, so I can hit Nagrand and the Nessenwary quests.. then onward to 68 by Friday. Seren thinks I can do it, so I sure am going to try.

I may be staying up late to achieve this, but I will have fun doing it!

But I love it! Seren and I finished the Death Knight opening quests and WOW! The quest line is amazing, it runs you through a whole time line of Death Knight goodness.. all the way to the Death Knights going against the Lich King. Yeah, watching that whole thing I was in total silence like "omgah.....wow...."

Oryanna is now lvl 58 or 59 soon to be 60 (this weekend for sure) and she is now a Guildmaster! Well... after I get signatures lol. Imajika will be our Vanity/fun guild. Why'd I make it? Well.. cause I can! Lalar is going to stay in Distortion, but Teleri and any other alts will go to Imajika.

She is also working on her mining/jewelcrafting, which I plan to work on as I level *crosses fingers*

But otherwise, Ory is an awesome Death Knight, all hawtness decked out in her specific Blue and Black armor riding around on her awesome Death Charger... oh yeah, she's a hawt peice of Alliance Ass LMAO! (ps I love that icon, kind of portrays Ory's bad girl side)

I can't wait to get home tonight and... clean! No playing WoW tonight. Seren is coming to see me and I am going to spend some quality time with him..

Oh Hai Northrend! shiver

So, I ventured into Northrend last night! After say about, 1 and 1/2 hours of installation and patching... Oh and being the only woman at our midnight release party.. Store FULL of men.. lil ol' me, in my boots and jeans waiting patiently. (I did get a free poster and a wink from the guy at the register hehe)

Oh, and I created my new Death Knight, meet Oryanna. A hawt Draenei. She came equipped with a full set of armor +rings, but no weapon. You have to forge your own weapon, it's so awesome! She is going to be Unholy spec'd because from what I can tell, it seems to be the best for leveling. (I can haz research!)

Oh and Lalar rode the boat to Howling Fjord, and started questing. Pretty place actually :). Sooo many new mobs and yeah I had some lag but an upgrade to my RAM should fix that soon. We decided to hit the first instance, Utgarde Keep and did pretty decently until my computer attempted to do Updates.. and crashed me out of WoW.. the group replaced me and went on but apparently not very far.

All in all, it was fun, and I can't wait to log in tonight and see what Northrend has in store for me!
